Conjure Animals 5e Who Chooses
Summon a celestial of cr 5 or lower.
Conjure animals 5e who chooses. Very recently i've discovered the dm is the one that chooses the creatures that appear. The main problem with the spell is that for the cr 1/4 animals, there's a handful of them that are just really, really good in groups. The spells imply the caster gets to choose which creatures appear.
Some spells of this sort specify that the spellcaster chooses the creature conjured. The spell speak with animals allows characters to talk to animals, form a bond, and make them part of the group. This spell scales well when cast at higher levels.

Conjure animals, conjure celestial, conjure minor elementals, and conjure woodland beings are just a few examples.
Concentration, up to 1 hour; A cruel dm could just say you get suffocating seahorses, that's it. An inferior version of conjure animals, but far more available to those trying to become conjuration masters.
For example, find familiar gives the caster a list of animals to choose from. Conjure animals—along with the closely related spells conjure woodland beings and conjure minor elementals—is sometimes referred to as a “broken” spell. Regardless of what form it chooses, an archdruid will use mass cure wounds when allies are seriously injured (preferably before their animal shapes are dispelled) and will cast conjure animals if it loses concentration.

Wondering how the boards feel the new ua summon spells from this ua stack up against the classic conjure animals.
